As MAB members we had many adventures during the 2017 Rally
Season, from Indiana to Pennsylvania. The rally season started
in Elkhart, Indiana with MOB,we moved to Kieler, Wisconsin in
June, from there our season continued in July at Rantoul, Illinois
for our 20th Anniversary Rally,in August we traveled to the next
rally in Effingham, Illinois. September several MAB members
traveled to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for the BOA International
Rally. We finished up the season as we started with the MOB
group in Coldwater, Michigan. Along the way we visited a lot of
beautiful and interesting places and added some great new
friends to the group. I hope everyone is looking forward to 2018
On Monday, December 4, MAB held its annual Christmas
Luncheon at the Beef House in Covington, Indiana. There were
11 members in attendance with a guest of a past member Danny
Leonard. Carol Robison was home recovering from hip surgery.
MAB welcomed Mike and Shelia Scott to the group in October
and look forward to seeing them again in the Spring. As I write
this newsletter Jolly Ann sent me an updated roster to include
new members James and Mary Alice Hanson from Clarks Grove,
MN. That makes nine new Bounder owners to join our Chapter in
The 2018 Rally season kicks off in Mt, Vernon, Illinois at
Archway RV Park, May 17 – 20. Check the MAB website or our
Facebook page to keep up with the rally schedule for 2018 and
other activities that will be happening in 2018.
Tentatively, business meetings will be held in May and August
this year. If you have something of interest or importance to
add to the agenda in May, please contact Steve Rittenhouse.
2018 is also an election year, so contact the nominating
committee if you are interested to serve on the board of MAB.
The ballots will be sent out via the internet after the August
rally when we will receive the report from the nominating-
committee. All nominations will be due by the August rally. All
board positions are open to anyone interested in serving.
Shirley Blair is the in-coming BOA President, which leaves our
chapter looking for someone to take over apparel sales. If
